Public Health Expert and Healthcare Advisor to the UN Secretary-General Dr Giorgi Pkhakadze said that some people may not get the coronavirus vaccine, as they have not been tested.
“Before the vaccine reaches the Georgian public, we will have obtained all required information on it. We know now that minors under 18 are forbidden to take the vaccine, as they have not yet been tested. We also do not know whether pregnant women and older people over 80 may get vaccinated, as they have not been tested either. Studies are underway, and further information is being collected,” Dr Giorgi Pkhakadze said in his televised interview with Rustavi 2.
